Nancy offers a number of embodied yoga classes to lead clients back to their true self. You can participate in yoga with Nancy through group classes at various locations or through private sessions in her home or clients’ homes. Classes empower you to take responsibility for all aspects of your well being, physical, mental, emotional and spiritual bodies.
Community Yoga Classes With Nancy

Private Yoga Classes
Nancy offers private yoga sessions to clients in her home in Niagara-on-the-Lake or at clients’ homes (for an additional fee).
STYLES TO CHOOSE FROM:
Hatha yoga originated in 15th-century India as a means of clearing the mind prior to beginning meditation. Ha translates to “sun” and tha translates to “moon” and together they represent the joining and balance of both masculinity and femininity within.
Hatha yoga classes involve postures that encourage finding a connection between strength, flexibility and balance. Hatha classes include breathing techniques which focus on diaphragmatic breathing in both static postures and gentle dynamic. In both, these breathing techniques will down regulate your nervous system, clearing your mind, preparing you for meditation and reflection.
Vinyasa is a word that means “flow” or “to move without resistance.”
Power Vinyasa yoga focuses on fluid movement from one pose to the next, with power and energy behind each transition. Breathing practice is synchronised with the fluidity of the movement. Power Vinyasa combines strength, balance and flexibility with cardio and physical stamina. Vinyasa yoga can be practised in a heated room that promotes joint mobilization and the lengthening of the myofascial.
YOGA TUNE UP® CLASSES
Yoga Tune Up® encourages us to become students of our own body through awareness, breathing, and movements leading to the exploration of possibility with relevant context; being open to finding body blind spots and discovering unhealthy tension patterns carried in our tissues. We learn to nurture ourselves with self-compassion thus allowing space for growth of a “new normal” bringing and restoring balance to our lives.
The yoga classes and workshops embody methods and techniques in Self Massage using “The Role Model Therapy Balls,” modified yoga poses and routines designed to make lasting physiological change, relieving and erasing pain, improving posture and overall performance and mobility for daily life. Yoga Tune Up® embodies each individual as they are, regardless of their current level of fitness. A commitment to regular classes will improve overall strength, flexibility and coordination.
A practice offered to release muscular, emotional and mental tensions. A single hour of yoga nidra is as restful as four hours of conventional sleep. Reawaken fresh, invigorated and inspired.
Meditation is the practice of calming the fluctuations of “The Mind” to create an environment for healing, “Knowing Thyself.” Learning to calm the mind of illusions, thoughts, feelings and beliefs prepares us to move into self-love and compassion.
